When a customer takes a pager, he or she automatically logs into the virtual queue and receives a queue number from the Queue Manager. The customer may keep on shopping without waiting in the queue. Shortly before it is the customer's turn, the queue manager sends the customer pager a call signal (flashing, vibrating and/or sound signal) . In addition, the display boards are updated with the number of the customer called.
The queue manager can take over the calling of customers fully automatically, thus relieving the workload on employees. Manual calling is also possible if required. The queue manager EC-400 consists of all components which are needed to handle this service. Ready to use, just switch it on.
Customers can independently take a pager from the charging station to register for the queue. When picked up, the pager automatically registers with the queue manager, who informs the customer of his position in the queue. The queue manager automatically calls the customer pager just before the customer's turn and updates the scoreboards. The display boards show the currently called pagers at all times. If the pager is returned into the charger, it automatically logs off.

The pager and control cabinet was developed as standard furniture specifically for Easy-Call 400 and Easy-Call 420. The furniture is used to issue and return pagers to customers and as a charging station for the pagers. For optimal presentation, the back wall and front can be designed with logos, images or information text. At the same time, the pager cabinet can be delivered pre-installed. So, all you have to do is connect it to a power socket and the system is running. By replacing the dispatch surface, the cabinet can be used for 10, 20 or 30 pagers.
